True Vine Christian Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian organization founded by Pastor Dr. Vincent Rhodes. Our mission is to serve children and families through Christian education, mentorship, community outreach, and programs designed to help people grow spiritually, academically, socially, and personally.

We believe that one of the greatest investments we can make is an investment in the next generation.

For that reason, True Vine Christian Center is committed to creating safe, nurturing environments where children are loved, encouraged, educated, mentored, and given opportunities to discover their God-given purpose.

Our Work with Children

True Vine Christian Center operates beKidz Educational Center, a Christian educational and childcare program serving children and families in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

Through beKidz, we provide programs designed to meet the practical needs of working families while creating meaningful opportunities to positively influence the lives of young people.

Our programs include:

• Before- and after-school care
• Educational enrichment
• Homework and academic support
• Preschool and early childhood education
• Summer programming
• Transportation services
• Character and leadership development
• Christian education and mentorship

Our goal is to provide more than supervision.

We want to help children grow.

Our Growing Vision: Youth Development

We believe the hours between the end of the school day and the time children return home represent an extraordinary opportunity.

Our vision is to develop a comprehensive Christian Youth Development Program that surrounds young people with trained, caring Christian mentors who can help them successfully navigate childhood, adolescence, and eventually adulthood.

We envision a program where children receive academic support, develop life and leadership skills, build healthy relationships, strengthen their character, and learn to view themselves and their future through the hope and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Our vision can be summarized simply:

Reaching the next generation between the school bell and the dinner table.

We believe that by investing in children today, we can strengthen families, develop future leaders, positively influence communities, and help introduce another generation to the love of Christ.

Our Christian Mission

Our Christian faith is at the heart of everything we do.

We believe every child has value, every life has purpose, and every young person deserves adults who will believe in them, encourage them, guide them, and demonstrate the love of Christ through both words and actions.

Our desire is not simply to tell children that God loves them.

We want them to experience that love through the people who serve them.

Our staff, mentors, volunteers, board members, supporters, and community partners all have an opportunity to participate in that mission.

Looking Toward the Future

True Vine Christian Center is working toward expanding its impact through stronger youth-development programming, trained Christian mentorship, educational support, family engagement, scholarships, and partnerships with individuals, churches, businesses, and community organizations.

Our long-term goal is to develop a sustainable and replicable model of Christian youth development that can reach more children and families in the years ahead.
